Easy Dutch Baby – German Pancake Recipe
By Kristen

Dutch Babies are an absolute hit around our house, especially in the spring and summer months when our chickens are laying more, and we have an abundance of eggs.
This easy Dutch baby recipe only requires simple ingredients (basic pantry staples) and is a perfect go-to on a Saturday morning or even a special occasion like birthday mornings, Mother’s Day brunch, and Easter morning. The light and fluffy texture, topped with your favorite fresh fruit and sprinkled with powdered sugar, will keep any crowd returning for more!
Ways to Serve Your Easy Dutch Baby:
- Serve with various toppings – fresh berries, lemon curd, powdered sugar, sprinkled brown sugar, etc.
- Rather than topping your pancake with fruit, pour your German pancake batter over your fresh fruit and then bake – you can use apple slices, fresh blueberries, mixed berries, peaches, or any fruit on hand to bake the fruit into your puffy pancake
